Winnipeg Blue Bombers +11.5 (-110) -- 1 unit: I'm not a fan of matchups where one of the 3 elite teams plays one of the 5 other teams. However, this is actually a good spot for the Blue Bombers. They are 2-5, and I've not been a fan of the team, but when you're getting this many points with a QB who doesn't turn the ball over, against a banged up RB (Coburne), it's hard not to take a shot. Winnipeg ranks in the middle of the pack in passing, but you have to remember that they have gone through a few adjustment periods this year, and if they'd had a healthy Buck or Jyles for the entire year they may be top 3. They have a very talented WR core, and arguably the best OL in the East. The passing game will be essential, as I expect the Als to shut down Reid. On the Montreal side, you have a team that might want to put their foot down after an embarrassing loss at Toronto, but you also have a team that is banged up with Calvillo and Coburne both at less than 100%. They are going up a very balanced defence that can defend against the run and pass adequately. To stop the Als, or at least minimize the damage, I believe this is the type of defence you need. They aren't the best, but there are no huge holes (i.e. Sasky secondary, Edm run defence). The Bombers have only lost one game by more than 11, and it's hard not to take the points.
